Requirement: With Covid-19 becoming a serious concern, the Client wanted to develop an application to track whether a crowd of people wore masks or not in a Retail shopping mall. The objective was to help ensure the safety of the people in the shopping mall.
Solution: DNJ Indiego developed a framework based on Computer Vision and Deep Learning methods to train the mask/ non mask data among the crowd. Its features included: Detecting faces among a large crowd from a real time camera and detecting whether they are masked or unmasked.
